We look at the reality – what can you expect to earn from your coaching business? What’s realistic in terms of time commitment and income levels? We put real numbers around the lack of knowledge that exists around this topic.
We start at the beginning. Which niche should you choose and why? How do you ensure that it’s profitable? We then look at the massive benefits of having an ideal client within that niche and begin to define them.
The crux of the ideal client concept. People buy for one of two reasons, to solve a problem, or to fulfil a need. With coaching, it’s always to solve a problem. What problem does your ideal client have that’s keeping them awake at night? How is it impacting their lives? It has to be a problem that’s so pervasive that they will pay a professional – you! – to help them solve it.
You need to be where people who look like your ideal client are otherwise they will never know you exist. In this module, we discover where your client is, on and offline.
Clients don’t buy processes – like the coaching process – they buy outcomes. In this module, we look at how to articulate what your potential clients need to hear in order to understand why they need you.
A Golden Sentence is the one sentence answer to the question ‘what do you do?’. It answers the question simply and fully, without the coach having to resort to responses like ‘it’s complicated’ or ‘I’m a coach’. (The problem with the title coach is that a) no one knows what we do and b) everyone thinks they know, but they don’t!)
There are so many mind monkeys around pricing that it makes your head spin!
In this module, we’ll look at how to package your coaching and how to price those packages. Finally, we’ll slay the pricing dragon! (Or kill the mind monkeys 😉)
It’s all very well being visible, but how do you know which bits of what you’re doing are working, and which bits aren’t? In this module, we’ll learn how to track your efforts so that you can stop doing what isn’t working, and start doing what is.
A strategy call, a discovery call, a chemistry call – call them what you will, but the reality is that it’s a sales call. In this module, you’ll be taught a structure for these conversations that takes your potential client gently by the hand and helps them to understand why you are the answer to their problem. Best of all, it’s a very comfortable structure – and a joy to engage in.
